Carrots and the start of a new year

At the end of every year I try to give the upcoming year some sort of one word theme. This year, as we approach 2018 in just a few hours, I think about all that came before this moment and all that the new year will bring. But maybe, most importantly, I sit here in the present moment writing to you about my thoughts and experiences about parenting and baking because no matter what 2018 brings I know my year will be filled with both. This is my year of 'rejuvenation' and as for the carrots part? That will become more clear tomorrow, January 1st, 2018.
